About the place

Located just 20 minutes from the town of Udupi in Karnataka, Delta Beach or KodiBengre Beach .The location is an absolute beauty and more so because it is an estuary where river Suvarna joins the Arabian Sea forming 40 islands covered by dense mangrove trees. A ride through the roads here gives a view of the vast Arabian Sea on one side and River Suvarna on the other. Since the location is quite offbeat, there are no adventure activities but it is great for some soul searching and watching the sunset. You can sign up for a boat ride into the mangroves which is known to be a photographer’s paradise due to the brimming flora and fauna. If you aren’t a shutterbug, the boat ride works as a therapeutic activity and is a great way to appreciate nature.
