This Belkal Theertha Waterfall is inextricably linked with Kollur Mukambika Kshetra . People here believe that bathing in this theertha on the day of Ellamavasya will bring good fortune. Belkal Theertha Waterfall is located in the village Jadkal near Kollur in Udupi district . It is located in the middle of a remote forest. It is about 5 km on foot to reach here. One has to walk for about an hour between hills and rocks in the forest to reach the Tirtha. Plunging from a height of more than 500 feet.
